Purchase orders around the world are made with trading companies and manufacturers.

Before the goods are complete, a contractor from an agency at the shipping port is booked.

The agent takes the booking for the shipping company, which provides an empty container for the shipment.

Depending on the volume, containers are loaded directly in the factory or loads are made up of several deliveries made to central warehouses (hubs).

The container is loaded on board in the port of loading and sets off on the journey to Germany.

Before arriving in the destination port, all documents and methods of transport from the port to the warehouse are organised.

Customs is cleared via EDI using the commercial documents. Once the container has been approved, it can be transported on to the warehouse. If necessary, a further inspection is carried out at customs.

The goods are sorted, commissioned and paletted at the warehouse and then transported according to orders to the correct WENCO sites.
